To Powell Cay

We woke to a pretty sunrise.....

Set out to Powell Cay -  of course, with the wind on our nose....but we were determined to sail the 12 miles.

This is what our path looked like (the yellow line).  The 12 miles would have taken about 2 hours with the motors on (the black line).   With motor off and full sails, it took over 6 hours to tack back and forth in fickle winds.  Fun, quiet and relaxing though! 

Beautiful water along the course.

Made it to the anchorage at Powell Cay in the early evening.  Shore activities will wait for tomorrow!
