French Wells, Crooked Island, Bahamas

Today we first did another little mangrove exploration.

The opening to the mangrove "creek".

Short video of the dinghy ride up the creek.

Then back around the corner to a lovely beach.

We'd read about a fresh water well on shore, so we wandered around looking for it.

We did locate it out in the brambles.  But, it had green algae growing in it.  The water was just a few feet down.   Probably fresh, but not "fresh enough"!!

Walking back to the dinghy.

Selfie staring into the bright sun.

And then we spent a couple of hours on three lovely reefs!
