Hog Cay, Ragged Island, Bahamas

We had fried plantains for breakfast this morning.  Here are three plantains in various stages of ripeness.  They need to be mostly black before theyret soft enough for my taste.  If too green they're rather starchy.

Just slice and fry a few minutes in butter

My breakie -- add my homemade bread and some cheese grits.

Finally got enough internet signal to upload a short video of Karen from Persephone and Paul from Rush'n Blue playing for us at the hut.

A lovely evening at a livell place!!
