Royal Island Harbor, Eleuthera, Bahamas

Today was just a travel day.  Just 35 miles north so an easy sail.  We had excellent winds - mostly downwind.  The boat does well with that wind direction and the sails set wing-on-wing.  Smooth seas, comfortable sail.

Approaching the narrow current cut.  We timed it well about 2 hours past Nassau high tide - so the current gave us about 3 1/2 knots of speed as we went thru the cut.

It is Easter Sunday and looks like all the local fishing skiffs are parked in the beautiful bay.

And their small mail/cargo boat is moored as well.

Out the other side in speedy fashion.

And based on the winds we decided to continue up to Royal Island for the night.  A few other boats here but we don't know any of them.  Nothing to do ashore here so we read away the afternoon.

Tomorrow we'll probably head over to Spanish Wells.
