Buena Vista Cay, Ragged Islands, Bahamas

Jenny mentioned that she would love some of my cinnamon buns so we made a date for me to prep them/take them over to Meshugga for baking first thing in the morning.  (Boy, this no-oven experience is not great, but having a "spare" oven over on Meshugga has made it bearable!)

Same process as usual.  Spread softened butter on the dough.

Spoon large quantity of cinnamon sugar over the dough.

Roll it up

And then slice in about 1" pieces.

I top it with some extra sugar/cinnamon - well - because what's not to like about that?  Let it rise, then douse with at least 1 stick of melted butter (2 sticks is better!)

Then over to Meshugga for baking.  After baking at about 350 for 25 minutes.  (375 in Dee's oven was a bit too much - so we turned it down a bit).

 They were tasty!

The winds had shifted and Duane got out his long lines to turn us into the swell.  You can see we're pointed 90 degrees to Meshugga.  (Meshugga is so wide that they don't feel the "roll" from side-to-side like we do!)  Our boat was quite comfortable this way.

We went out for a dive but didn't find much of interest.  The winds/waves were just too large to get out too far.

Over to Meshugga for the afternoon game of Mexican Train and then curry dinner.  Fun times, the last few days we'll be with them this season.

We'll be heading further north now and will be a few days with absolutely no internet - so email me on my winlink account if you need to!
