Alabaster Bay, Eleuthera, Bahamas

Kris decided it was too rolly in the Governor's Harbor bay so we both set one sail and headed about 6 miles north to see if we could find a calm anchorage.

We made water and washed clothes for several hours.  20+ knot breeze dried them almost instantly!

Just a few boats here when we arrived.  This behemoth arrived a few hours later along with their jet skies and powered surfboards.    They stayed a few hours and enjoyed the lovely beach then departed.

The beach here extends out from shore for several hundred feet at low tide.

We anchored the dinghy and took a very nice mile long walk down the beach in ankle deep water.

Back to the boat for a relaxing evening.

  1. Missing Bahamas and the beautiful clear blue water. Good to catch up with your blog now that we’re back in cell range.
