Matthew Town, Great Inagua, Bahamas

Woke to another windy day.  Breakfast was leftover hushpuppies again with fried plantains from the farmer's market.  Drizzled in honey.  Very good combination!

Meshugga had invited us over to play games and pizza night.  We sailed back about 6 miles south to anchor near them.  It was a little more rolly but tolerable.  Right after we anchored a squall passed by framing Meshugga in a pretty light.

And like usual, moments later it's just another pretty day.

We ended up playing a nice long game of Mexican train.  We've left off the "chicken foot" option and I think the consensus is that we like it better.  Jenny won on a come-from-behind streak.  As she was the sole scorekeeper, we accused her of cheating, of course.

Good fun - time for the pizza.  They make fabulous pizzas!!  Cool fork-free salad too stuffed with avocado.  Yum. Wonderful hosts!

  1. Hey K,
...ok...hushpuppies sound really odd for breakfast...I'm guessing yours don't have onions in them...I make lettuce boats a lot...I just did it recently with some of that bulghur...haha...still trying to use it all up...
    Love,
