Mayanagua, Bahamas

We all went for a snorkel out to the barrier reef while it was still calm.

It was pretty - I'm using Ralph's photos because mine didn't turn out as well.

Duane got one really big lobster!  Notice the gray sky in the background.....the winds and weather arrived suddenly while we were out on the reef - we had a wet and wavy wild ride back to the boat!

We went from calm winds and water to 30 knots in a matter of 15 minutes.

Since getting on the dinghy is a problem when the wind is blowing this hard, we all decided we'd stay on our own boats for the evening.

I was a bit tuckered out  from the two overnight sails - we had a nice quiet evening and early to bed!

We'll be at Mayaguna until at least Wednesday to wait out the strong winds.  Hope we can get to shore tomorrow and explore the tiny town here.
