Preparing to shove off south

We spent one last day at Sharon and Buddy's - ended it with another relaxing trip to the Irish pub in Venice.  In the hallway leading to the back door to the pub, there is a barber shop.  It was closed when we walked by....but they apparently leave various "celebrities" in the chairs overnight.....someone has a nice sense of humor!

Today we did another "provisioning" run since we won't have access to a car for a long while.  This all fit in the dinghy!

Unfortunately, during the dinghy ride back to the boat, the motor's coolant water stopped "peeing" and we got an over-heat alarm.   Luckily, we were right at the boat so we didn't have to row. 

Duane took the motor apart (once we lifted it out of the water) and found a damaged impeller.  Strange because the motor was serviced with a new one just 6 months ago.  (This is just the lower end of the motor). 

We found a new impeller at a Honda dealer in Venice - Buddy picked up the impeller and will bring it to us tomorrow morning.   Once that's installed, Buddy will join us for our trip southbound towards Key West!!
