Orange Creek, Cat Island, Bahamas

Since the freezer is not absolutely packed with fish....we wanted to sail outside on the east side of Cat Island and try to remedy that.

Up just at sunrise for the 55+ mile sail.

Rugged shoreline on the southern tip called Columbus Point.

The winds were actually better than expected and we sailed about 1/2 way wing-on-wing.

For over 8 hours we trolled the deep ocean drop off....got one nice bite but that one got away!   Pulled into the open anchorage at Orange Creek for an early night.

We'll be moving/fishing again tomorrow - probably going to Rock Sound Eluthera....stay tuned!
