 Many of you will remember a long while ago, I pieced together a quilt-top of the nautical alphabet flags.  (With lots and lots of long distance help/planning/advice from sweet sis-in-law Sharon).  Here are a few photos of that process just to refresh your memory.

 

This is what I mailed to Sharon for her quilting expertise.

And this is what she mailed back to me! Love, love, love it!  She did the binding and all the beautiful quilting stitching.  She put the most lightweight batting inside since we don't sail in cold weather (by choice anyway!)  The pillow shams say "DM" and "KM".

 

Look at all the lovely detail on each square.  She stitched a different quilt pattern for each square.
