Oriental, NC

 Busy at the boat....

Some of the stitching on the cockpit enclosure has deteriorated in the constant UV exposure.  So I'm removing them, one panel at a time and re-stitching with UV resistant thread.  Duane toted my heavy sewing machine over to the camper.  I've set up there so that I can just leave the machine in place for the next few months and have a separate place to sew.  This will leave our boat interior space free for normal activities.

Duane is doing several projects - one is some updating for our fridge/freezer compartments.  He's assembled new seals, just waiting for the glue to dry before installing.

And I'm doing a few little other projects as well like using oven cleaner to clean the stove grate.  Nice to get back into the swing of chores.

Ed and Cathy invited us over (6 feet away) for happy hour....which turned into hours of catching up and an impromptu supper...fun!

  1. Hey K,
...that's a good idea to have a special workspace...and you always do such a good job with your 'stitching'...
    Love,
