Little Ragged Cut, Bahamas

Started the day with blueberry pancakes and orange slices.  Yum!

Jerry and Donna brought BlueJacket down from Hog Cay along with a couple of other boats.  We haven't seen them since we left Oriental at the end of October.

On our way out to snorkel we stopped by to say hello.

Nice to see them again!

With the light winds we went on the ocean side of Ragged Island hoping to find some nice coral.  But the seabed was just endless crevices like this.  Not terribly interesting to me as there wasn't any structure to look at.

The shoreline is beautiful though.

Duane spent a good while snorkeling the rocks looking for lobster.  Do you see his head poking out of the water at the upper left?

A rain shower looked like it was headed for the boats - and I had forgotten to close the hatches.  My bad.  So we cut our snorkeling short and headed back to the anchorage.

Almost looks crowded now!

Later in the day I was trying to take a photo of the Coast Guard helicopter - didn't get a good shot of it but a pretty one of the anchorage.

All of the crews came to the beach for a lively sundown chat.  I think I have the list correct:  Sojourn, Meshugga, Reach, MokaKat, Discovery, Aldebaran, New Ambition and BlueJacket.

A lovely sunset but no green flash.

I had given Jenny on Meshugga my grandmother's Mexican Cornbread recipe.   She made it and brought us a large slice!  We had it with dinner and it was delicious!
