Little Ragged Cut, Bahamas

We started the day fairly early with some snorkeling as the winds were forecast to be light.

Unfortunately, there was a good bit of swell so not the greatest of conditions. The water was just a bit less than clear also.

Duane got two lobsters to replace those we've eaten, one particularly big one.

Back to the boats after a tiring morning.

I've gotten the knack of cleaning the legs and antennae - it makes for particularly tasty lobster salad/appetizer dip.  This is what I got from the one larger lobster.  I'll freeze this and add several together the next time I want to serve it to a group.

Back at the boat, I heard an airplane take off at the airport.  It was a float plane, not sure the make.

Near sundown, several of the crews went for a little stroll at almost low tide.  Pretty conch shells - this one occupied by a nice size conch.

Calm little lagoon, cut off from the ocean at low tide.

Nicholas brought his cast-net to try for some snapper in the lagoon.  Maybe next time!

And lots of sanddollars on the walk back.

Chatted way the evening until the no-see-um's made their appearance and we all went back to the safety of our boats!
