Little Ragged Cut, Bahamas

We started the day with a nice long hike along the ocean side of  Little Ragged Island.

I meant to mention earlier - as we were departing last year, there was a public auction going on for Little Ragged Island.  The islanders reported that it was purchased by Elon Musk.  We were bracing ourselves for "No Trespassing" signs this year - but apparently that deal either wasn't real or hasn't happened yet.  We have mixed feelings about a sale (which certainly don't matter to anyone but us!)  On one hand, the islanders would probably benefit from a sale and the building of a resort.  But on the other hand, the places we see like this elsewhere - it's a mixed blessing.  Oftentimes, they bring in foreign staff and then there's always the spoiling of an un-occupied island.  Anyway, we'll enjoy our free access to the island as long as it's allowed!

Back to the day - anchored the dinghy in the little bay to start the hike.

Beautiful views and you can see why they are call the Ragged Islands!

The view across the salt flat - we usually walk over this area on the dried salt.  But an unusually wet winter has it covered in water.

Back to Sojourn, a lovely day.

I caught a couple of nice shots of Nicholas and Jenny on the Hobie having a good sail.

Five o'clock creeps up so quickly each day!!!  To shore for sundowners with Meshugga.

Sundown was un-spectacular but moonrise was lovely!

Night view of the anchorage as we dinghy back to the boats.
