Sailing towards Dordrecht....not a lot of folks in the lounge area.
Passing another power plant, ahain, not nuclear but gas powered.
The homes start to have recreational boats attached like we are used to in the states.

The last excursion of the trip was to board this high speed ferry to take us to see some windmills.
About 1/2 hour thru a mostly industrial area.
We met our guide in Kinderdijk where they have many windmills from the 1700's. These windmills powered massive pumps to keep the Amsterdam area high and dry even though it is several feet below sea level.
Kindof off the subject, but there were a few wooden clogs in an information building.
There were over 16 windmills in the area.
We went inside a working windmill fitted out as it would have been for a family at the time. The wooden gears and wheels were fascinating. (The fire extinguisher was a new addition) Up the stairs to some of the living areas. Interesting setup in a small space for a family!

Time to go back on the ferry - Billy goat in a yard on the way to the ferry.And for Janet, I snapped a few photos of our room....it's "cozy"....really plenty of space as we're really not in the room very much. This is the lowest level (cheapest)....
Loved the heated floor in the head!And that's about a wrap for our river cruise.....we have thoroughly enjoyed it even with all the changes. Met some really great people!
We'll be off the boat at 9am tomorrow and will explore Amsterdam for a few days.
