Bimini, Bahamas

 I hadn't planned to be able to do a blog update for several days!  But we detoured to Bimini and anchored at 11PM to "shadow" our buddy-boat Cerca Trova.  They've got a boat issue that they need to fairly urgently get to the US for repair.  We want to make sure there is someone close by on the trip over in case of difficulties.   Had a nice 6 hour sleep!

Cerca Trova raising anchor this morning.  About 80 miles over to Ft. Pierce.  It will be nice to do it in daylight hours.

 

Leaving Bimini - skies look a little unsettled.  Our 3-4 day run north looks a little worse for weather too so we'll look at it again this evening when we pick up Verizon signals as we approach the mainland.
