Rock Sound, Eleuthera

We started the day with the idea that we'd just tack into the wind and see where we ended up!   The winds were pretty much exactly against our intended course.  A large cloud bank was blowing in from the east...the winds started increasing to 25 knots true....not forecast....so we put in two reefs in the bluster.  (Not really fun but you have to do it sometimes.)

Things calmed down a bit - still quite a fun ride at times!

After numerous tacks we did have to crank the engine to round the corner to get into the Rock Sound harbour.

Surprising - there are only 4 other boats in the huge harbour!  I guess we're a bit early.

Anchored all by ourselves just before sunset covering just over 44 miles over the water.
