Wrightsville Beach, NC

We were up at 5:30AM to get an early start....another lovely morning with the moon still visible.

We promptly pulled anchor and were underway just before sunrise.

Nice to see all the sea birds on the shoreline.

Today's journey was filled with a few bridges.  The first one had construction cranes and was a little tricky to navigate.

After the first bridge of the morning, we had a nice breakfast....

Areas south of Swansboro are really built-up along the waterway....

The next bridge was a swing bridge.  Always fun to see them in operation.

And then closing up.

Last bridge of the day....anchored at Wrightsville Beach.

Dinner was on What If - a wonderful shepard's pie made with turkey and a game of Hearts.  Good to be back in the swing of things!
