Little Ragged Cut, Ragged Islands, Bahamas

We went with Jerry & Donna over to Duncan Town - for one last visit with Maxine as she is leaving to go to Nassau for her mother's 100th birthday celebration!!!

Over to the shore at the airport.

There were a couple of plains on the ramp.  We caught a ride into town with Gregory from the Bahamas Defense force, so nice of them.

Visiting with Maxine.

Maxine telling tales.....

After a small bit of grocery shopping, we did a little walking around town.  The clinic is coming along nicely - they're making the forms to pour the roof with concrete.  Looks fairly hurricane proof!

Not sure what this building is beside the clinic - but they have very reflective glass installed.  Look in the window!

We made a selfie the old fashioned way!

Pretty blossoms as we walked.

The school is really quite close to completion.  Will be interesting to see if it opens in the fall.

Looking out from the teacher's apartment over the salt ponds.

We stopped in at the Lost Key lodge for a quick refreshment,  Pinky was at the desk.

After a final farewell to Maxine, we walked back the couple of miles to the dinghy....(no cars passed us so no offer for a ride!)  Always fun to see the mama and baby goats along the way!

Just relaxed the rest of the day, early night.
