 We had visitors!  Sharon & Buddy drove over from the west coast of Florida for a brief visit.

They certainly picked a dreary day though!  I stayed on board and finished cooking a simple brunch, Duane went in the dinghy and picked them up at the marina.

Fun catching up and meeting their dog, Gidget, for the first time.

 

Just chatted the morning away.

 

All too soon it was time for them  to head back - raining a bit so a little wet ride.

 

A very wet day, we just stayed on board and watched a Nat Geo documentary - Free Solo - about a crazy dude that climbs rocky mountains barehanded with no ropes.  Was actually a bit disturbing to watch as one small mistake and he would die.  Spoiler alert - he does not make any mistakes.

The weather window for us to travel to the Bahamas does not look so good at this point (winds would be on our nose) so we may regroup and get a different plan together.
