At dusk 2 nights ago we had an intercepting course with this sailboat. I had one engine on at low RPM, so to make things easy for both of us I pushed the RPM's up and we passed easily in front of them. Waved as we went by.
Uneventful travel into Newport River about 30 miles south of Savannah as the wind and tide were both at our stern.
Very peaceful anchorage. We were joined eventually by a small sailboat and a powerboat.
Dinner was cornbread and turkey chili, watched the Jeopardy tournament before an early retirement.
