Pittsboro, NC

 Well, we're not that interesting of late.....went on another hike.   This time locally just a few miles south.  

It's beginning to feel a bit like summer now.  Even though it is a mostly shady hike, the 90 degree heat made it seem pretty tough with the up/down hill terrain.

The usual assortment of small streams and foot bridges.

 

And we crossed paths with a nice black snake.

We're off to the boat tomorrow, hoping to avoid the worst of the rains that are forecast.
