Hog Cay, Ragged Islands, Bahamas

We were up for an early jaunt up to the end of Maycock Cay for a bit of snorkeling.

No More Mondays looking nice in the morning light as Dave got ready to go snorkeling with us.

The dinghy ride was lovely - just beautiful shallow water.

Lots of nice underwater scenery.

Saw this cool trunk fish meandering around.  Hard to see here, but he's really triangular shaped.

We found several lobsters but they were too small - they need a while to grow up!  Duane stuck the camera down in a hole and got this photo of a couple of small ones hiding away.

Ed had the catch-of-the-day with this nice size lobster.

We had invited the 2 Mantas and Bluejacket to join us on Sojourn after sundowners for some sushi.

You know the drill.....assemble sliced components, boil some sticky rice and roll them up!

I ended up with 3 tuna, 2 cooked lobster and 1 veggie roll.  Into the fridge for chilling.

And later sliced and served with all the trimmings: wasabi paste, pickled ginger, peanut sauce and soy sauce.

And I was having such a good time visiting that I didn't snap a single photo!  Afterwards we had a fun card game with Jerry, Donna and Ed.  A good day!
