Hatchet Bay, Eleuthera, Bahamas

It's haul-out day!  We rode over to Master's Marine on the dinghy first thing in the morning to meet with Scott and to make sure we understood the approach channel.

Scott is the owner, a Bahamian that lives north in Spanish Wells.  Very professional.

The "well" looks narrow but it's actually over 30' wide.  Our boat is only a little over 21' wide.

Scott communicating with the lift driver using a walkie-talkie attached at his shoulder.

He had several helpers on hand to guide the boat into the lift safely.  This same fellow did a bit of bottom paint for us to patch a few bare spots (that I induced when I went aground earlier in the season).....

The lift driver was very professional as well.

We stayed on the boat while they positioned the lift.

Then they got busy blocking the boat and setting it down.

In no time, Duane got busy with changing out the sail drive seals on the starboard side.....I did a minor amount of cleanup but really didn't have much to do.

Their shop area is nice and organized.

 So far, an excellent experience!
