Hatchet Bay, Eleuthera, Bahamas

Beautiful sunrise in Rock Sound....mill pond calm.

We lifted anchor and headed about 40 miles north to Hatchet Bay.  Skyfall reflecting the rising sun as we motored past.

Uneventful motor sail, more wind than forecast so that was a good thing.  Approaching the narrow entrance to Hatchet Bay.  A brisk wind was blowing from the northwest and it made the entrance just a bit squirrelly.

But we were thru with no problems.

The main reason we are here is that we'll get a quick haul-out at this new yard - Master's Marine.  Duane needs to replace the saildrive seal on the starboard side because he has some milky oil there indicating a small water leak.  (We'd done the same think in October on the port side in New Bern.....ahhh, boat ownership is fun!)  The boatyard looks well done - it's brand new so we don't really have any reviews of it.

No other excitement for the day - Bilancia sailed up later in the day and are anchored near us.  The winds will build over the next few days but still pretty light.
