Little Ragged Island, Ragged Islands, Bahamas

First order of business was to get rid of several bags of garbage that had accumulated in the forward locker. Two ways to do that - one is to burn it on shore in a separate firepit we use just for trash.  The other is to take it ashore over to the Ragged Island trash dump.  This time we opted for the dump.  The winds were contrary to anchoring the dinghy easily.  We had to work at it with two anchors.

Just thought I'd show you the dump.  It's largely construction debris.  Someone in town is in charge of doing an occasional burn as well.  Not smelly at all.

Then it was back to the boat to make some snacks for sundowners on Sojourn...my version of Do-Sip-Dos Girl Scout cookies.

Then out for a snorkel.  Just a lovely day.

There are three boats in the anchorage now - Ron and Dee on Ursa Minor joined us.  Everyone brought snacks over - quite the spread and no need for supper afterwards!

Not the greatest photo, but we enjoyed a couple of hours of chatting and a very small green flash at sunset!
