Little Ragged Cut, Ragged Islands, Bahamas

We're in for a week of strong east winds starting Sunday, so we'll be moving over to Hog Cay for that tomorrow.  It's not that being in the cut is unsafe or uncomfortable in strong winds, there just won't be much to do.  Since we've been here soooooo long, it's time for a change in scenery anyway.   So we'll move from our favorite little spot where we can at least do lots of hiking on different trails at Hog Cay.

First a little chore - Jerry offered to make a trash run over to the dump so Duane rode along.  Amazing how much garbage piles up when you don't have a dumpster on the curb to dispose of it.

Sunny day so lots of solar power.  I made a nice loaf of bread and defrosted the fridge.  The humid air causes the freezer to ice up pretty regularly....

Then we went for a snorkel in the calm winds.  Still a bit rolly out there.  I saw this hogfish and pointed him out to Duane.  Luckily, the fish was hanging around in the coral and Duane nabbed him!

But that was the last photo - I had forgotten to charge my camera battery....bummer.

We invited Ralph and Leslie over for supper and enjoyed a nice few hours of air conditioned conversation.
