Little Ragged Cut, Ragged Island, Bahamas

Plans were hatched by Rick for the cruisers to go in to Duncantown for lunch. The bonefishing lodge is not open regular hours, but Erica was going to cook for the cruisers.  All the dinghies anchored at the airport.

We waited in the "lounge" at the airport in the shade for Ty to pick us up.

Chatted with Alma (nickname Jill) who takes care of the terminal building.

We soon piled into Ty's pickup for the 2 mile ride.

Cheerful, noisy afternoon.

I sampled some of the local "Special Beer"....

Cori and Susan helping Erica in the kitchen.

It got pretty quiet once everyone had their food!  The offering was either conch, fish fingers or a Philly cheesesteak.  I chose a combo of fish and conch.  Excellent!

Solving the worlds problems outside....

Little miss Siena got a quick lesson in scooter riding from Rick.

The afternoon was passing quickly - time to get moving back towards the boats.  We walked over to Maxine's store - the clinic construction is coming along nicely.  The workers are all on Holiday break but will be back soon to continue the construction on the clinic and hopefully finish the school soon!

Maxine is in Nassau until the end of January - Susan took over selling items to the cruisers.

Sweet Mitchell and Seina posed for a photo.

Loading up in Ty's pickup for the ride back to the airport.

Nice to avoid the 2 mile walk - full stomach - ready for an afternoon nap!!
