Little Ragged Cut, Ragged Island, Bahamas

In the morning Bluejacket came back to the cut....

We stopped and said hello on our way to go snorkeling in the morning.

We transited south on the ocean side because the winds were light.

Unfortunately most of the snorkeling was pretty murky....

Ron and Dee on Ursa Minor joined us - Ron found a nice lobster.

I did spot a beautiful queen angelfish.

Leslie and Ralph were out there too - quite the party!

After a really good swim - back to the boats.

In the afternoon, Duane went over to Bluejacket to help Jerry with a repair to his roller furler.  The other boats all to the dinghies to the airport where Ty picked us up for a trip to Maxine's store.  Ty is manning the store while Maxine is in Nassau.

We asked Ty how the fishing was today - he said they got 100 pounds of crayfish.

They don't fish like we do - they go to offshore reefs and take the lobsters from "condos" which are protected manmade pallet-like structures.

Since Ty is apparently in charge of running the town today, we asked him to open the Ponderosa so that we could have a refreshment.

Fun time asking Ty questions about Duncantown, his family and fishing.....

We climbed back in the pickup to head back to the boats - but first Ty drove us around to peek at the school and for a short visit with Myron and his pigeons.

By the time we got back from town, it was time to head over to Bluejacket for sundowners.

Saw a small green flash....

And had a fun visit with all 4 boats in the anchorage.
