Spanish Wells, then Meek's Patch again, Eleuthera, Bahamas

Since everything was closed on Easter, we couldn't get the groceries or diesel fuel we wanted....so on Monday we pulled anchor and went over to the Spanish Wells anchorage to get things sorted out.  What we didn't think of was that it was Easter Monday and everything was also closed for that holiday as well!!!

We decided to go ashore anyway since it's been ages since we've been off the boat.  We noticed a Manta anchored near us - so we stopped by for a brief visit.

 Cool "wrap" on the boat.

Nice family and dogs!

Just random photos as we took a nice long walk.

Love the pretty painted houses....

The flowers were prettier than when we were here in November.

And we stopped by to visit the other Manta here - Emmanuel IV.

We had a nice chat with Oded and his daughter who is visiting, more friendly folks.

We stopped back by Wreckers Restaurant since it was the only place on island open....we waited for a few minutes but the staff was obviously over extended....back to the boat for sandwiches and relaxing.  We then decided to pull anchor again and head back to Meeks Patch for the upcoming strong winds for at least 2 days.

We watched the new Avatar movie - predictable and a little dull.  Slept with the winds building past 30 knots but all safe here.
