Hog Cay, Ragged Islands, Bahamas

We went for a nice long walk....almost 4 miles.

Absolutely beautiful day!!!

The beginning of this walk goes by a salt pond.

You have to watch your step constantly because of the spikey rocks!  Would not be good to trip and fall on this!!

But eventually the path comes out on the shoreline.

It's a windy day so the surf is up.

Not another soul in sight for miles.

Up and down the rocky hills we trekked.

Back to the boat!  We have a side tie bridle on to prevent the boat from rocking side-to-side in a swell....there's not much swell right now but we are lazy and haven't removed it yet...

I thought I'd mention a couple of "beach finds"....

I picked up this creepy unicorn toy....the next time we walk the "Baby Doll Trail" we'll tie this one along the path with the other creepy toys.

And some perfume bottles.  Our friend Rita on Como No volunteers at an elementary school - she uses perfume bottles and colored sand in a lesson for the kids.  For some reason, there are always perfume bottles in the flotsam - so we collect them for her. We've found about 15 this year.

We spend the last hour of daylight in the cruiser hut -

I brought my Sharpie pen and updated our "boat sign" that is in the rafters with the year 2023...

A lovely sunset but no green flash!
