We went for a nice walk with Kris & Dean on the "Baby Doll Trail".....the trail on the northern end of Hog Cay is marked with floatsam - primarily pieces and parts of baby dolls. I have no idea why....sortof creepy and funny.
I had found this head a few weeks ago on the shore of Little Ragged. I had kept it on board for just this moment!
The head installed along the trail.A little strange humor....
This trail is probably under water in wet season...but we're never here then.
Out on the ocean side of the island.
Duane found another bottle of perscription drugs in the floatsam. We believe a container must have washed off a freighter somewhere out there - as we've found several different bottles like this. The paper labels are always washed away.
But still sealed and pristine inside.
We looked it up back at the boat....it's an HIV drug made by Abbott Labs.
We walked the beautiful rocky shoreline.
And Duane found another sealed bottle of drugs.
We couldn't figure out what this one is....it has a weird emblem moulded into the pill but internet searches were unproductive.
To the rocky northern end of the island - Kris & Dean at the peak.
Looking down into the surf a couple of hundred feet below.
And the overlook back towards the anchorage.
On the trail back, I saw a baby doll head I hadn't noticed on the way over.....really creepy eyes!!!
And we'd found this (empty) piggy bank in the surf - thought it would be a good addition to the trail markings!
Kris & Dean dinghied over with a gift - a bag of Dean's fresh caramel corn. It was delicious and there are no photos....
