Since we're away so much, I only get to attend book club a few times a year. Lindy, I and a few other ladies from the airport started the club in 2009. Over the years we've been thru about 30 members and read 142 books so far - Lindy and I remain the only two original members, meeting for the most part, once a month. New members are always friends-of-friends-of-friends....
One member always volunteers to host the meeting (and pick the next book to read!) and there is always wine and goodies to munch on. This time it was a lovely vegan chocolate cake...extremely good!
In case you find yourself "eggless" for some reason, this is a terrific, soft yummy cake!
