Jerry and Donna take their boat to Wayfarer's Cove Marina every September for haulout - and Jerry asked us to go along as line-handlers. The travel lift is just barely wide enough to lift them so extra hands ensure no damage to the sides of the hull.
Duane and Jerry solving the worlds problems on the deck.
Passing the town of Oriental. Nice warm summer day but no wind.
Approaching Minnesott, there's always a ferry crossing....
And one sailboat with their sails up ghosting along.
Another neighbor, Neil, was along to assist as well.
Approaching the narrow channel into Wayfarer's.
And approaching the travel lift.
After a little delay with the equipment, Jerry and Donna treated us to lunch at the Minnesott Golf Club.....back at the marina they successfully lifted Bluejacket with inches to spare.
Back at the ranch....we did a few chores and took a nap....then back to Silo's with Jerry and Donna for BOGO pizza night. A full, fun day!!
