We went out for a snorkel just because it’s been a few days…unfortunately the conditions were not great. Beautiful day though!
We ended up buzzing up about 4 miles to Margaret Cay where we knew there is a couple of protected coral heads.
Had a nice little snorkel but the dinghy motor would not start when we got back on board!! We really shouldn’t have gone that far without a buddy boat!! I did have the VHF radio so we could have begged another boat to come rescue us. But that would have been an ugly rescue, having to tow a disabled dinghy 4 miles! Duane took a spark plug out to troubleshoot, somehow that fixed it and we were on our way, not stopping until we were back at Sojourn. Still don’t know what was wrong. It has cranked successfully several times since…
We went ashore for sundown- still a nice small group. We all said our farewells since most everyone will be heading to a different anchorage.
Today is our son Robert’s 37th birthday…wow, how could that be? Seems like yesterday…..
I’m including a bunch of photos of Robert from 1989 for the pleasure of our sweet relatives….oh, what a difference a few years makes❤️
