Really glad that there is GPS since getting out of Boston was a maze of side streets! Once out of Boston proper, the neighborhoods were actually quite quaint.
Brrrr, it’s beautiful but chilly!
Easily located our Airbnb right in the middle of the touristy harbour town. It was the old sail loft historically.
We went for a short stroll over to the harbour where the fishing/lobster boats are.
This is Richard’s ride. The William G. Drohan. It is owned by some of Casey’s cousins.
A different little side creek, must be low tide near our Airbnb.
Different view of the sailoft.
Strolling in Rockport, on our way to Gloucester just 4 miles away to meet Richard and Casey for dinner.
We went to The Lobster of Gloucester, aptly named. The restaurant buys their lobster from the William G. Drohan so Richard may have actually caught the lobster that was served in my lobster roll! Good food and fun catching up a bit with Richard and Casey.
It is quite the scenic quaint looking area. Glad you are able to spend some time with Richard and Casey
ReplyDeleteSuch a quaint little fishing village. We visited in 2010.
