Pretty sunrise! But winds were forecast to pick up a bit - time to move to a more protected anchorage.
We moved over a few miles to the anchorage between the Majors. It was lovely but a bit bouncy for my taste.
One of the only alternatives for the wind direction was to move over to Big Major Spot (A.K.A. "Pig Beach"). One of my least favorite anchorages in all of the Bahamas because, as a tourist attraction, they have feral pigs roaming the otherwise uninhabited island.
We’ll stay here for at least a day to get through the worst of the winds. Still waiting on our VHF shipment.
But, OH, that beautiful water!
