Little Ragged Island, Bahamas

The winds were forecast to be light for the first time in a while, so we set out first thing to go snorkeling.  A rain cloud chased us out of the anchorage....no worries, the rain was warm and we had wetsuits on anyway!

By the time we got a few miles away to the coral, the skies had cleared.  Duane dove down and got this cool shot of a couple of small lobsters.

Pretty coral as usual.  No captures for today though!

But Duane pointed out this amazing octopus.  Was so cool to watch!

Several days ago, Sojourn and What If had been invited over to Messhuga (Yiddish word for Crazy) for a boat tour and pizza.

Dee and Nicholas were fabulous hosts on their huge 62 foot Lagoon catamaran.

Dee in the galley.  Wow, amazing space!

Oddly, they have a "visitor" - a pigeon with a band on it's leg.  Couldn't read the band, unfortunately.  He seems quite tame and isn't bothered by us walking by.

Up the stairs to the upper level.  Huge boat!

The view back to Sojourn and What If.  The photo doesn't do it justice - we're 15' off the water so a completely different view than we're used to.

The friendly pigeon changed locations, now he's the captain!

In the upper level cockpit.  Nicholas entertaining the guys.  Look at those huge winches!  It takes a LOT of power to handle the sails on a 100' mast!

After fun conversations, Nicholas and Dee prepared wonderful pizza on their BBQ grill.

My goodness it was wonderful!!  Such a treat - we haven't had pizza since November.  (I brought the ingredients, I just haven't thought to make it.)

All of us ate too much....and then that brought out dessert.  Ice cream and a wonderful fresh fruit medley.

A wonderful evening with fine folks!
