Hog Cay, Ragged Islands, Bahamas

We got a treat - an invite to Michelle and Clark's lovely Nordhaven 55-   Roam - for an ice cream social!!

4 couples were invited - Southern Star and the 3 Mantas.

Our lovely hostess Michelle.  The galley is amazing!!  She has a small dishwasher and full size oven.  And full size fridge.  And small chest freezer too.  (This explains the fact that she had 4 giant tubs of ice cream!!)  And granite countertops.   (I must add at this point that their boat is sortof the opposite of our sailboats where we must keep things light weight.  You'll see on the tour that they have two huge engines and two generators to keep all this stuff running and moving through the water!)

And further amazing stuff is this bathtub.  I haven't seen a bathtub since October!!

Their master suite.  Just lovely.

Up top in the fly bridge - the command center.  It's really far off the water!!

The 3 Mantas in the background.  (Their draft is 6'6" so they have to anchor further from shore.)

Back down to the salon/galley.

Beautiful teak everywhere.

Down in the spotless engine room.  Gotta have lots of power to move

The gaggle of dinghies and Southern Star in the background.  A lovely treat and great evening!
