Chores at home

After 6 months away, there is a good bit of yard work that needs to be taken care of. 

So I pull out socks and shoes....and realize that this is the first time in a long time that I have actually had proper shoes on my feet.  Really strange and confining feeling!

We had someone mowing the grass, but no other lawn maintenance.   The liriope border on our basement sidewalk gets grass/weeds intermixed if it's not addressed often.  So we decided that we could just do without it!  

A couple of hours later and many wheel barrow loads of dirt, we have reverted back to an easy-to-mow grass border.
