Southside Anchorage, Ragged Island, Bahamas

Just a really nice snorkel day..

Lion fish....

Fairly large trumpet fish.

And a cute little green turtle hiding in the reef.

Deb and Louie came over for a nice visit at sunset.

  1. Nice to see a little color on the coral there. I bet Duncan Town seems so quiet without the workers

  2. Maxine said population is down to about 45 now. It’s particularly quiet since a lot of folks are off island for the holidays. All of Maxine’s kids are off island.

  3. And there are virtually no cruisers! Just one boat that I know of at Hog!

  4. Water conditions look magnificent.
Are you hunting for lobster every time?
    Your take seems quite low.

  5. Hey Dee - yes, we are hunting but I have my limit most days. I have to eat one before we take another! We did get two very nice ones yesterday but I forgot to take a photo. I had lobster salad for dinner.... Several boats have been boarded by RBDF and inspections relating to fishing! Duane is also keen to get a hogfish but so far they have been present but elusive. Louie on 360 loaned Duane a 7' long spear (vs. his 6' spears). It does seem to make a big difference on how close you can get to the fish.
